Coronavirus (COVID-19) Preparedness Plan

Revolution Print and Packaging considers the health and wellness of our employees to be the top priority. We closely monitor the latest news from the CDC, the World Health Organization (WHO), our healthcare insurance companies, and other sources, including state and local government agencies, to bring our employees updates and suggestions for preventing, identifying, and responding to potential exposures to COVID-19. We have added additional janitorial services at our facility and provide hand sanitizers, antibacterial soaps, and disinfecting wipes to those who are interested.

Prevention:
  • To prevent infection and transmission of COVID-19, all employees must:
  • Practice social distancing when needed in all areas of the facility
Do not touch or shake hands
  • Do not form lines at entrances or exits for any reason
  • All employees and visitors are required to wear a face-covering while in a production area, according to state and local guidelines
  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
  • Wipe down all equipment using disinfecting clothes at the end of each shift

Visitors:
Anyone with a fever, cough, or other flu-like symptoms will not be permitted to enter.

Potential Exposure: Employees who believe that they, or a member of their immediate family (a family member living in the same household), may have been exposed to COVID-19 are encouraged to self-quarantine in their home for 10 days or timelines dictated by state or local governments.

Employees Exhibiting Flu-like Symptoms: All personnel who exhibit cold or “flu-like” symptoms will be asked to self-quarantine in their home for seventy-two (72) hours after the employee is free of any fever, without the use of fever-reducing medications.

Facility: All areas of the facility frequented by the personnel will be cleaned using disinfecting wipes. Personnel at the facility will be notified of potential exposure and given the option to stay home, using PTO or unpaid leave, until the threat of the possible infection can be determined.

Employees Who Test Positive for COVID-19: Upon learning of a positive test for COVID-19, the employee will be required to self-quarantine for a predetermined amount of time according to state and local government agencies or until “cleared” by a doctor to return to duty. Additionally, immediately upon learning the positive results, the employee’s work area will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

In all cases, all employees are paid per the Families First Coronavirus Response Act guidelines.
